Ring Size Guide
Choosing the right ring size matters, whether you are buying an engagement ring, a wedding band or a gift. UK ring sizes run from the letter D for the smallest sizes up to Z+5 for the largest, in half-size steps. If you are not sure of your size, here are three easy ways to find it.
Way 1: Measure a ring that already fits. Take a ring that fits the finger you want to size, comfortably but not loosely, and measure it on a ring sizer. Place the ring on the sizer, find the size it matches and note the letter. Choose a ring that sits comfortably on the same finger and is not too wide.
Way 2: Use a printable or physical ring sizer. A printable or physical ring sizer lets you try different sizes on your own finger at home. Wrap or slide the sizer around the base of your finger, check that it passes over your knuckle with a little resistance, and read off the size.
Way 3: Visit our Birmingham or Hale boutique. Our team offers a free professional sizing in both boutiques, so you can be sure of an accurate fit and try on styles at the same time.
Tips for getting the right size. Measure at the end of the day, when your fingers are at their natural size. Fingers swell in heat, so avoid measuring when you are very warm. Wider bands fit tighter than slim ones, so for bands over 6mm we recommend going half a size up.
