Every ring we create is handcrafted in our Birmingham workshop by jewellers who care deeply about the finished piece, then brought to Hale for you to see, try on and treasure.

Our Hale boutique

Our boutique at 202 Ashley Road is an unhurried space where you can explore settings, compare diamond shapes and talk freely about what you have in mind. Many of our clients come from Hale, Bowdon and Altrincham, and others travel from across Manchester and Cheshire for a quieter, more personal experience than a busy city-centre store.

We are open Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 17:00.

Whether you are planning a surprise proposal or choosing together, we will take the time to understand your style, from a timeless solitaire to a halo, trilogy or something entirely your own. We can also help you think about how your engagement ring will sit beside a wedding band, and suggest discreet ways to find the right ring size.

Our bespoke process

Our bespoke service starts with a conversation about the person you are buying for, their style and the story behind your proposal. Our in-house designer sketches your ideas by hand, then develops them in CAD so you can see every detail of your ring before it is made.

Once you are happy with the design, your ring is handcrafted in our Birmingham workshop. Our engagement rings are made to order: most are ready within 7 to 10 days, and some designs take 3 to 4 weeks. A deposit can secure your order, and we will keep you informed throughout.

Because our designer and workshop work so closely together, refinements are straightforward and you always know who is looking after your ring. It is a personal, considered way to create something you will wear every day.

Choosing your diamond

We will guide you gently through cut, colour, clarity and carat, showing you diamonds side by side so the differences are easy to see. Every diamond we offer is certified, giving you complete confidence in your choice.

We offer both natural and lab-grown diamonds, and we are always happy to talk through both so you can choose what feels right. For added peace of mind, our price promise covers like-for-like diamonds from other UK jewellers.

Shape plays its part as well. Round brilliants are timeless, while ovals, pears, emeralds and cushions each have their own character. We will help you see how each looks on the hand, and how the setting and choice of metal can show your diamond at its very best.

You will find us at 202 Ashley Road, Hale, WA15 9SN, a short stroll from Hale railway station and only a few minutes from Altrincham town centre. Manchester is within easy reach by road, rail or Metrolink to Altrincham. On-street and nearby public parking is available in the village; we would suggest checking local signage on the day.

Visiting Hale is a pleasure in itself, with independent shops, cafés and restaurants along Ashley Road, so it is easy to make a relaxed afternoon of your appointment.
